The first direct flight services between Jaffna and Chennai resumed today. Airport officials in Chennai said that the flight services will be operated for four days a week. Alliance Air will operate the flights on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1.15 pm. The move is expected to help the tourism sector of the neighbouring island Nation. The flight services have resumed after a gap of three years.
