Kathmandu : The Election Commission has made public the closed list of 3,213 candidates, which the political parties submitted for the proportional category of the House of Representatives (HoR) election.
The closed list was made public on Sunday. Spokesperson at EC, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, informed that the closed list of proportional candidates was made public as per Section 25 of HoR Proportional Election Directive, 2082.
The list has names (3,213) of the candidates submitted by 63 political parties with 57 election symbols.
Anyone objecting to the qualification of any candidate in the proportional list can lodge the complaint from January 19 to 24.
The objection can be filed in the format determined as per the Directive, Spokesperson Bhattarai added.
