Nepal imported 32,331 unassembled motorcycles worth Rs 4.56 billion

According to the Birgunj Customs Office, Nepal imported 32,331 unassembled motorcycles worth Rs 4.56 billion during the first half of the current fiscal year, generating Rs 4.43 billion in revenue. This represents an increase from last year’s 25,857 units valued at Rs 3.38 billion. Imports of electric motorcycles also doubled to 4,594 units worth Rs 5.8 million, compared to 2,218 units last year. Additionally, 4,567 fully assembled motorcycles worth Rs 458.1 million were imported, up from 2,192 units in the previous year.
