Kathmandu, : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Nepali citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel and Iran amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry called on Nepalis currently residing in Israel and Iran to exercise heightened caution and strictly follow security advisories issued by local authorities. It advised them to remain indoors as much as possible, avoid unnecessary travel, stay alert, and maintain regular contact with the local Nepali community.

The ministry also warned against undertaking travel without prior approval from the concerned authorities. Nepalis have been requested to remain in close contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kathmandu, the Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv, and the Nepali Embassy in Doha.

Furthermore, citizens planning to visit Israel or Iran have been advised to postpone their trips until the situation returns to normal.

The ministry also urged Nepalis living in other Middle Eastern countries to stay informed about the evolving developments and follow safety guidelines issued by the respective authorities. It said the government is closely monitoring the situation in the region.
