The UAE has announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador and all members of its diplomatic mission from Iran. The move follows Iranian missile attacks on UAE territory. United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned Iranian missile attacks targeting both the UAE and Oman, calling them a dangerous escalation.

In a statement, UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Iranian attacks represented a clear violation of state sovereignty and posed a direct threat to regional security and stability. The Ministry said these attacks constitute acts of aggression against civilian sites, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities.

It said, these attacks endangered innocent civilians in a dangerous and irresponsible escalation that represents a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter.
