The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has established three additional thematic committees, taking the total number formed so far to 11 out of the planned 25. The new committees include the Bank, Finance and Insurance Committee chaired by Hemant Golchha, the Trade Fair Committee led by Sabin Shrestha, and the Tourism and Air Transport Committee headed by Sangharsha Bista. Appointment letters were distributed to committee members during a program at the FNCCI Secretariat in Teku. Speaking on the occasion, FNCCI Senior Vice President Sur Krishna Vaidya said the committees would identify challenges facing the private sector, recommend policy improvements and strengthen cooperation with the government. Other FNCCI officials called on the committees to deliver practical results that support investment, improve the business climate and promote private sector growth.
