Former Prime Minister and former President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has reached Bangkok from Hong Kong and is scheduled to return to Nepal coming Thursday.
Deuba, who has been abroad for five months for treatment, was scheduled to return to Nepal on August 11. However, it is reported that after he went to Bangkok from Hong Kong, his return to Nepal was postponed by two days.
According to leaders close to Deuba, he reached Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, from Hong Kong on Friday. Now, the program to return to Nepal from Bangkok has been scheduled.
It is reported that he is scheduled to return to Nepal on Thursday, August 13, on a Thai Air flight.
A national gathering is being organized in Kathmandu on August 14 by the non-establishment faction of Nepali Congress. Leaders and cadres from all over the country are coming to Kathmandu for the conclave.
Preparations are underway to mobilize the leaders and cadres who have arrived in Kathmandu at the airport to welcome Deuba. Former Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport from Bangkok on August 13 in the afternoon.
