Chatur Bahadur Chand unanimously elected as the President of the Cricket Association of Nepal

Kathmandu: Chatur Bahadur Chand has been unanimously elected as the President of the Cricket Association of Nepal.

In the election held on Saturday, Chand was the only candidate for the post. With this, he has been re-elected as the President of CAN.Former National Team Captain Paras Khadka has been elected as the Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

He was elected as the Secretary after he got 37 votes for the post, beating another candidate Prashant Bikram Malla who only got 37 votes.

Padam Khadka was also unanimously elected for the post of treasurer. He was also the only candidate for that post. Similarly, Jayanti Khadka was unanimously elected as the female member of the Association.

The General Assembly of the Cricket Association of Nepal, which started on Friday in Kathmandu, will conclude today with the election of new leadership. Elections for other posts, including the secretary, are ongoing.
