Kathmandu. World Tourism Day is also celebrated in Nepal by organizing various programs.
World Tourism Day was celebrated in Nepal on Wednesday with various programs under the slogan of tourism and green investment.
On the occasion of the day, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati welcomed the foreign tourists who came to Nepal on the first flight of Turkish Airlines at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and the Lalitpur Metropolitan Corporation organized a special ceremony from Patan Darbar in Lalitpur to Mangabazar.
In the program, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Kirati said that tourism should be attracted through Nepal’s original culture. He said that by expanding the airspace, tourism should be arranged easily.
Minister Kirati informed that the procurement process will be carried out in a transparent manner, saying that the process of purchasing the ship has been started with the aim of bringing more tourists. He said that the law related to tourism should also be amended in time.
Mountain climbers, individuals and organizations contributing to the tourism sector as well as tourists were honored in the program.
