Kathmandu. Shehbaz Sharif is going to be the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. A hung parliament has been formed as no party has been able to secure a clear majority.
In which PMLN leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif proposed his brother Shehbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan from the party. Pakistan Army has also supported it.
Party spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb also informed that Sharif nominated his daughter Maryam Nawaz for the Chief Minister of Punjab. Nawaz Sharif thanked all the political parties who supported PMLN in forming the government and expressed hope that the new government would be successful in bringing Pakistan out of the crisis.
Nawaz Sharif has been the prime minister of Pakistan three times. Shahbaz Sharif will become the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the second time. After the fall of Imran Khan’s government, he became the Prime Minister between 2022 and 2023 with the support of PPP.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has announced his withdrawal from the race for the post of Prime Minister and said that his party will support the Prime Ministerial candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
