Moscow. Russia has banned the export of gasoline. This ban will be effective from March 1. This announcement came on Tuesday as the demand for gasoline from consumers and farmers at the local level is increasing.
Oil refining companies are making plans for refinery maintenance. In such a situation, this step has been taken to avoid the situation where the price of petrol will increase due to lack of petrol at the local level. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak’s spokeswoman has also confirmed the ban.
Russia imposed a similar ban between September and November last year after the increase in the price of gasoline at the domestic level and the situation of shortage. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan are exempted from the current ban.
