Paris. The French police have confiscated 72 guns from the house of film star Alain Delon. It is said that 3,000 rounds of ammunition and a shooting range were also found during a search of the actor’s house in Duchy-Montcorbon, 135 km south of Paris.
Delone did not have a gun permit, prosecutors said. The 88-year-old actor is considered a shining star of the golden age of French cinema. Delon suffered a heart attack in 2019. In the years since then, he has been sick again and again.
Due to poor health, he is not seen much in public events. The last time Delon went to take the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. The rift in his family is also making headlines in the French media.
