Suspect All Died In Nepal Crash, Says Official

Kathmandu: All passengers on board the aircraft that crashed in Nepal are feared dead, a government official told  as rescue teams pulled out bodies from the wreckage of the plane that had 22 people, including four Indians, on board.

The wreckage of a plane lost in Nepal’s mountains was found Monday scattered on a mountainside and 14 of the 22 people on board were confirmed dead, the army said. The plane slammed into the mountain breaking into pieces. Pieces of wreckage scattered over a 100 metre radius after hitting the Sano Sware Bhir in Thasang.

Rescuers recovered 14 bodies from the crash site, said Teknath Sitaula of Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. There was no word on survivors, and the search of the crash site was continuing. Aerial photos of the crash site showed aircraft parts scattered on rocks and moss on the side of a mountain gorge.
