Ritika of Nepal became the ‘best fighter’ in the 7th Asia Cup International Taekwondo

Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ritika Darnal has won the best fighter award for women in the 7th Asia Cup Open International Taekwondo Competition.
Ritika, who won the gold medal in the 41 kg weight group in the competition held in Goa, India from June 7th to 9th, also won the best fighter award.​​​​

Similarly, Gaurav Singh Mishra of India’s 68 kg weight group won the Best Fighter Award for men.

14-year-old Reetika from Bhanu Municipality, Tanahun district is studying in class 9 at North Point Academy in Manmaiju.

Nepal’s Samrat Pariyar (55kg), Manishree Chand (14kg) and Prashant Basnet (33kg) have also won gold medals. Vipin Vick (64kg) won the bronze medal.

The team including international referee Ramila Khatri from Nepal went to Goa for the tournament. Khatri was the presiding judge.

Nepal won 7 medals including 5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the 7th Asia Cup Open International Taekwondo Tournament.
