Amid all-round pressure, US President Joe Biden has claimed that he will be the next presidential candidate. Biden has made it clear that he is the next candidate in a conversation with the Democratic Party’s election campaign aides.
The pressure on Biden to drop the presidential candidacy increased after he proved weak in the debate with the Republican candidate Donald Trump in the presidential election debate held last week. With this pressure, it has been estimated that Biden will not run in the elections to be held in November and that Vice President Kamala Harris will be the candidate. But Biden has said he is the next candidate and has Harris’ support.
He has also clarified that his party has not made any decision to recall him. Biden has now reached 81 years. The Republican Party’s presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, is 78 years old.
