He said that he is firmly committed to take the presidential race to the end and defeat Donald Trump. He said that defeating Trump is his only job.

Only 42 days are left before the presidential candidate of the party will be formally announced at the Democratic Convention. And there are 119 days until the general elections. Biden said it is time to unite, move forward as a unified party and defeat Donald Trump.

Some Democratic MPs have urged him to drop out of the race. According to Real Clear Politics’ average polling data, Trump has a 3.3 percent lead over Biden in the general election.
