Kathmandu. Pakistan beat UAE by 10 wickets in ACC Women’s Asia Cup. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first.
UAE lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and made a moderate total of 108 runs. Captain Isa Ojha scored 16, Thritha Sathis scored 42 and Khushi Sharma scored 12 runs. The other batsmen could not score double runs against the tight bowling of Pakistan.
Saadia Iqbal, Nasra Sandhu and Tuba Hassan took two wickets each. In reply, Pakistan completed the target with 35 balls to spare. Gul Feroza contributed 62 runs and Muniba Ali contributed 37 runs. This is Pakistan’s second win in a row in the ongoing tournament.
Pakistan, which was defeated by India in the first match, had easily defeated Nepal by 9 wickets. Pakistan has reached the semi-finals after collecting four points from three matches.
