Sahitya Kala Mandir- Kathmandu, Kalinga Literary Festival to host annual Inter-national Literature Festival at Kathmandu from this year

New Delhi: A meeting was hosted between the members of Lunkarandas Gangadevi Chaudhary Sahitya Kala Mandir, Kathmandu and Kalinga Literary Festival, Bhubaneswar. The meeting enlightened up on the insights about the international joint venture between both the organisations in forthcoming period. President of Sahitya Kala Mandir, Mr. Basant Choudhary, Vice-President Mr. Harihar Sharma, Mr. Raman Ghimire, Mr. Rajendra Shalabh, Dr. Shweta Deepti, Ranjana Niraula and Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Managing Director and Founder of Kalinga Literary Festival, who came from India to Kathmandu. There was a dignified presence of KLF Corodinator Shri Debashish Samantray.

The collaboration between Sahitya Kala Mandir Kathmandu and Kalinga Literary Festival will strengthen the cultural dialogue, religious as well as literary perspective and prolonged relations between Nepal and India. Sahitya Kala Mandir- Kathmandu, Kalinga Literary Festival to host annual International Literature Festival at Kathmandu from this year.

As all know, Lunkarandas Gangadevi Chaudhary Sahitya Kala Mandir is a reputed organisation in Nepal which has been promoting and honouring eminent creators associated with different regions of Nepal for the 28 years apart from various literary and cultural activities in Nepal. Similarly, Kalinga Literary Festival is a dignified institution in India which has been honouring and promoting distinguished personalities from different regions of India. Members of both the institutions are aiming to organise a multidimensional program in future.

In such a testing phase, KLF started a virtual talk series “Bhava Samvad”. KLF Bhava Samvad through about 350-sessions so far, has hosted the most illustrious writers, policymakers, socio-cultural influencers and best creative minds to keep the culture of idea-exchanges fostering. As widely recognised and reported, KLF Bhava Samvad is undoubtedly the most impactful and engaging virtual literary idea platform in India.

KLF Book Awards, established by KLF in 2021 opens up the opportunities to identify, recognise, acknowledge, encourage and honour the literary talents across genres, for both established and new writers. The objective has been to shape the future literary icons.
