Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale today laid the foundation stone for an arrival terminal building (domestic) at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) amid a programme.

A temporary building will be constructed in view of the increasing flow of passengers, airport authorities quoted TIA General Manager Prem Nath Thakur as saying.

Constructed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the project costs Rs 50 million with a one-year completion deadline. Bright Multi Construction has been awarded the contract to build the terminal building with 41 meres in length and 24 metres in width.
