He said his move was a legal move to prevent the “collapse of democracy” and oppose the opposition’s “parliamentary dictatorship.” In South Korea, the demand for the resignation or impeachment of President Yoon is increasing continuously.
However, Yun has indicated that he will not resign. He said, “Whether I am investigated or impeached, I will remain firm, I will fight till the end.”
Between Tuesday and Wednesday of last week, Yoon Suk-yeol imposed martial law in the country. However, he was forced to withdraw his decision within six hours after a fierce protest. After this step of Yoon, there is a big protest against him in South Korea and there is an investigation against him.
Police raided the President’s Office and the Police Headquarters on Wednesday. The police said that raids were also carried out at the offices of the Seoul Metropolitan Police and the National Assembly Police Guard. Agency
