14,308 students of Tribhuvan University graduated

Kathmandu. 14,308 students of Tribhuvan University have graduated. Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University KP Sharma Oli presented certificates to the students who graduated and got the best marks at the 50th convocation ceremony held at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar.

According to Tribhuvan University Examination Controller Pushparaj Joshi, 9,068 undergraduate students, 5,055 postgraduate students, 63 MPhil students and 122 PhD students have graduated.

The students who stood first in the exams of various levels and subjects taken from Tribhuvan University were also awarded with various medals. This year’s Tribhuvan University Professor Sangh Shaheed Deputy Professor Hariraj Adhikari Gold Medal has been awarded to Heera Shrestha of Management Sankaya and Shri Indrabhakt Shrestha Gold Medal to Sudha Kafle of School of Management.

Similarly, Amrit Medal was given to Sushil Pokharel of Central Department of Chemistry, Madan Vidya Environmental Science Award to Rikita Bhandari of Central Department of Environmental Science, Nepal Bank Limited Sardar Gunjaman Singh Gold Medal and Ramkrishna Nhuchche Principal Award to Revika Bhandari of Kathmandu Model College.

Narendramani Acharya Dixit Medal and Dr. Mohan Prasad Lakh Gold Medal has been awarded to Sudiksha Ghimire of Ratnarajya Laxmi Campus. Sanjeev Kumar Singh of Central Department of Library and Information Science with Shanti Narayan Mishra Medal, Prateekraj Joshi of Department of International Relations and Diplomacy with Dr. Dubsu Chhetri Gold Medal, Sreena Kshetri of Central Department of Botany with Gold Medal of Emirates Prof. Dr. Ramprasad Chaudhary and Narayan Shanti Mishra Medal of Journalism and Mass Communication Central Department with Gold Medal Chetna Kunwarbach was awarded.

Shrijya Kafle has received Tarapad Chaudhary Medal, Khagendraman Sin Pradhan Medal and Chandraraj Dhungel Memorial Prize. Kafle is a student of the Central Department of Economics. Shilpa Bista Academic Excellence Award has been received by Sitakumari Shrestha from the Central Department of Education.
