Kathmandu. Internationally renowned Nepali blues artist “Ashesh Dangol” aka “Himalayan Hendrix” represented Nepal at the “Best of Them Blues Festival” in Thiensville, Wisconsin, USA.
Ashesh Dangol was the headliner in the program that lasted from Bhadra 29th to Bhadra 30th.
Ashesh has performed as a headliner in many international music festivals before this.
“Ashesh Dangol” alias “Himalayan Hendrix”, who has been stepping into the music field since 29 years ago, was given the nickname “Himalayan Hendrix” by the Norwegian and German media in 2010.
In the same program, Ashesh composed Insearch Towards Freedom, Jatra Bhive, Cosmic Bhive and songs from his sixth album based on Nepal’s Maalik Taal.
“Best of My Blues Festival” by the late B.B. On the occasion of King’s birthday, All Star Jam was presented and ended with Ashesh’s guitar tune.
Mighty Miss Erica & The Sound Production, Leroy Airmaster feat: Junior Brantley, Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials, Westside Andy, Andrew Alli, Steve Vonderhaar w/Rev Raven & The Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys, Pierre Lee’s MKE All Star Band, The Wilson Family Band, Ashesh Dangol “The Himalayan Hendrix”, Mike Wheeler w/The Chicago Diamonds, DKieran Harrell, BB King’s Birthday Blast feat: Billy Flynn, Stephen Hull, Paul Stilin, Gervis Myles & more!, Set Breaks , The River Side Revival, Cameron Webb & The Marke blues band were included in the band.
The famous blues artists of America participated in the All Star Jam. Ashesh Dangol was accompanied by Thom Lama on bass guitar and Sajan Maharjan on drums, while Piyush Dahal played the role of manager.
