BAFTA Awards for 2023 announced; Austin Butler bags Best Actor and Cate Blanchett Best Actress awards
The 76th British Academy Film Awards, BAFTA Awards, were announced at an event held in London’s Royal Festival Hall last evening.
‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, a German anti-war drama which is a screen adaptation of the 1928 novel by Erich Maria Remarque, won a maximum of seven awards, including Best Film and Director.
‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ and ‘Elvis’ both movies won four BAFTA awards.
Austin Butler took home the Best Leading Actor Award for his portrayal of Elvis, and Cate Blanchett won the Best Leading Actress Award for her mesmerizing performance in TÁR.
