Kathmandu. Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck has arrived in Kathmandu on a private visit. He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport a while ago along with Queen Tetsun Pema Wangchuck and has now reached Swayambhu.
He went directly to Swayambhu from the airport. He went to Swayambhunath via Sinamangal-Tinkune-Nayabaneshwor-Maitighar-Thapathali-Tripureshwor-Teku-Kalimati-Tahachal-Chhauni.
After visiting and worshiping at Swayambhu, he is scheduled to go to Boudhanath. After worshiping there too, he will return to Tribhuvan International Airport. He is scheduled to return from the airport at around 2:40 pm. Security arrangements have been tightened targeting the arrival of the Bhutanese King in Kathmandu. The Nepali Army had conducted a rehearsal for his security arrangements at Tribhuvan International Airport last Wednesday.
