Bill Gates praises Indian PM Modi for his dedication towards India’s development

Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his dedication towards India’s development.

Quoting his meeting with Prime Minister Modi in his blog, Mr. Bill Gates said, Mr. Modi is generous with his time. He added, we talked about how science and innovation can help reduce inequity in India and around the world.

Appreciating India’s effort in various sectors, Mr. Bill Gates said that he learnt about the innovative work going on in health, climate change, and other crucial areas in India. He added, at a time when the world has so many challenges, India is inspiring to visit a dynamic and creative place.

Remembering COVID-19 pandemic and action taken by the Indian Government to beat it, Mr. Bill Gates said Mr. Modi and he stayed in touch during the pandemic, especially in regard to developing COVID-19 vaccines and investing in India’s health systems.

The Microsoft Co-founder said that India has an amazing ability to manufacture lots of safe, effective, and affordable vaccines, some of them supported by the Gates Foundation.

He added, the vaccines produced in India have saved millions of lives during the pandemic and prevented other diseases around the world. Mr. Bill Gates is on a visit to India. During his visit so far, he explored many Ministries and met with several dignitaries from various sectors.
