Bomb threat to dozens of private schools in Delhi

NEW DELHI. There have been threats to blow up a number of private schools, including famous ones in the capital city of India, New Delhi.
According to news agency PTI quoting an official of Delhi Fire Service, mails were received threatening to blow up 44 schools, including DPS RK Pooram and GD Goenka School in West Bihar.
Officials said that the bomb threat was received at RK Puram’s DPS School at 7:06 am and GD Goenka School at Paschim Vihar at 6:15 am.
After the threat, fire brigade, dog squad, bomb detection team and local police reached the school and launched a search operation. News agency ANI has claimed that bomb threats have been received at several schools in New Delhi. After receiving threats, the school management called the parents and sent the students back home.
