Chinese President Xi announces Rs 9 billion grant to Nepal

Kathmandu. China is going to support Nepal with 9 billion rupees as a grant. During Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to China, Chinese President Xi Jinping made this announcement.
During Prime Minister Oli’s visit to China, various agreements and memorandums of understanding have been signed between the two countries. After the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Oli and his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang on Tuesday morning, various agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between the officials of the two countries. The officials of both countries have signed and exchanged the memorandum of understanding on the construction of the Tokha-Chhare tunnel between Nepal and China.
