Dubai witnesses a vibrant display of colours and flowers as the Indian community celebrates Phoolan ki Holi
Consulate General of India in association with Expo city Dubai organised Holi Celebrations at Jubilee park , Expocity Dubai.
The celebrations included a vibrant Indian community modulating toes to the tunes, dancing with the music, smearing colours and tossing flowers marking the ‘Phoolan ki Holi’.
Consul general of India Dr Aman Puri Inaugurated the event and remarked Holi symbolises the oneness of humanity and also marks the transition from winter to spring.
There were numerous cultural programmes by students of the indian high school dubai. The programmes showcased the diverse cultural heritage of India, including traditional Indian music and dance performances. The students’ participation in the cultural programs was a wonderful way to showcase India’s rich cultural traditions to the wider community.
The event culminated in a DJ evening, where the participants enjoyed music and dance to celebrate the festival of colors. This event was a celebration of the timeless Indian festival of colors and served as a wonderful opportunity for the Indian community in Dubai to come together and rejoice.
