Education and Science & Technology Minister Mahabir Pun has submitted his resignation from the cabinet.

Finance Minister Rameshwore Khanal confirmed the development on Facebook, writing, “Mahabir Pun has resigned to focus on his campaign!”

Earlier on Monday, Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel and Sports Minister Bablu Yadav had also stepped down from their positions.
