The Embassy of Nepal in Spain organized a Cultural Program, including a horse race, at Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, Madrid on 13 MAY 2023. The event was organized to mark the 55th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relationship between Nepal and Spain.

Furthermore, the event was also organized to promote tourism and culture of Nepal in line with the objective of sending at least hundred thousand tourist per year from Spain to Nepal by 2026, and to create awareness regarding impact of climate change on our mountains and glaciers
