England beat Switzerland in semi-final

Kathmandu. England has reached the semi-finals of the European Cup. In the quarter-finals of the ongoing European Cup, England has reached the semi-finals of the tournament after defeating Switzerland by 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out.

After both countries scored 1-1 in the scheduled 90 minutes, the game was played for 30 minutes of extra time. After 30 minutes of extra time there was no goal, the game was decided by penalty shoot out. In the penalty shootout, Switzerland’s player Akanji missed the penalty.
In the previously scheduled 90-minute match, Switzerland’s Briel Mbolo scored the first lead in the 75th minute of the game, while Bukayo Saka scored the equalizer for England in the 80th minute of the game.

Now England will play against the Netherlands in the semi-finals. With this loss, Switzerland has been eliminated from the Eurocup.
