California. For about one and a half hours at night, social networks like Instagram, Facebook and threads were running. The reason behind the problem that has arisen in all social networks except WhatsApp is still unknown.
Meta itself has not yet given any concrete reason for this. At the time of outage, the accounts were logging out on their own. Users’ timeline was not refreshing.
See this problem: When you saw this post, Alan Maskley, the owner of X, wrote a metal message saying that our services are fine and our server is working fine. The cyber attack is said to have caused problems in Meta’s services. Many experts have claimed that this outage could also be a part of the cyber attack that took place in America a few days ago. Was it really a victim of a cyber attack?
Metaco outage in the hands of Chinese hackers
On Tuesday evening, while Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and threads were down in Nepal, the services of many other companies in America were also stopped. There is suspicion of cyber attack behind this.
At that time, in America, Google, YouTube, Honeywell, WhatsApp, Google Play Store, O2, Microsoft Times and Xco services were also stopped due to down detection. One of X’s users also claimed this. Recently there was a cyber attack on America’s health care system.
After that, many hospitals came to buy medicines and could not pay the bills for days. This attack took place on the healthcare payment system. A day later, the outage seen in Metama is also linked to a cyber attack.
