New York. The Inter Cup held in New York City on Monday saw the youth football team team and the volleyball team Rukum team emerge victorious.
On the women’s volleyball side, former national player Sepora Gurung led the Belmont Club and on the women’s soccer team, North Dakota State signing star emerged victorious.
The men’s over 40 age group won the Intra-Cincinnati event. The winner of the 3rd Intra Cup Football and Ball Sports organized by Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America, Foundation President Delhi Adhikari presented the trophy and medal along with cash prize during a program today. According to him, 24 groups of men, 16 for youth football and 8 groups of 24 for women aged 40 years participated in the competition.

According to the information given by organizing committee director Arun Gurungle, Pathri Football Club stood second in the youth football competition, while Nebraska Mountaineers Club stood second in the women’s side.

The organizing committee said that more than a thousand players from 14 states of America participated in the biggest competition for the Nepali community in America.
“The group that stood first was given a trophy consisting of one hundred and 15 grams of gold,” said director Guru Ganesha. “To make this trophy yours, you should be the first in a three-part competition.”
According to him, the youth football winners were given a prize of 15 thousand US dollars, 10 thousand for the second place and 6 thousand dollars for the third place.
Gurule told that the male winner of Bhalivalma will get 10 thousand US dollars, 6 thousand for second and 4 thousand for third. According to him, prizes of Rs 10,000 were given to the first-place football winner, Rs 6,000 to the second place and Rs 3,000 to the third place winner.
The states of the United States of America, including Montana, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New York, Canada, Ohio, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Texas, California, Georgia, Nebraska, Maryland, have Btrans competitions for Hill City Club, Revival Club, Akron Intra, New York Btrans, Intra Columbus and Harrisburg Btrans.
