Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh passes away at the age of 92
New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi on Thursday, December 26.
Singh, who served as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, was admitted to the hospital earlier in the evening after his health deteriorated. He was under medical care in the emergency department.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited AIIMS Delhi following the news of Singh’s admission.
Robert Vadra, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband, expressed his condolences in a message shared on X. He extended sympathies to Singh’s family and acknowledged his contributions to the nation. Further details on the former Prime Minister’s funeral arrangements are awaited.
