Kathmandu. Sri Lanka’s former president Ranil Wickremesinghe has come to visit Nepal.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wickramasinghe arrived in Nepal on Saturday morning for a personal visit.
Immediately after arriving in Kathmandu, he left for Lumbini today. Wickremesinghe visited the Shantideep, Mayadevi Temple in Lumbini, and visited the Pushkarani Pond and Ashoka Pillar.
The Ministry has arranged for Wickramasinghe to have the usual courtesy and security as a former President.
