From the perspective of diversity, Nepal is a special country in the world: Prime Minister Prachanda

 

Sarlahi. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Nepal is the highest country in the world from the point of view of diversity.
Addressing the ‘educational and cultural program with a group presentation of 4,000 students of community schools’ organized by Bagmati Municipality today at Karmaiya in Sarlahi, he said that the diversity of the country should be united.
He said, “Nepal is a top country in the world from the point of view of diversity, national unity can be achieved only by respecting all races and languages.”
He said that unity in diversity is the characteristic of Nepali people and emphasized on the need to unite everyone and promote nationalism.

On the occasion of the program, he also launched a book on the reform of public education.

In the program, songs, dances and music reflecting the cultural and geographical diversity and identity of all the seven provinces were presented. Tableaus of parents in their respective costumes were presented from different wards with slogans such as ‘We will improve our school’ and ‘Our responsibility to improve the community school’.
