Govt recommends envoys for 18 countries; Shankar Sharma will continue as Nepal’s Ambassador to India
The government has recommended ambassadors for 18 different countries today. This decision was made during today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, as announced by Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Raj Kumar Gupta, in a statement.
According to Minister Gupta, Shankar Sharma will continue as Nepal’s Ambassador to India, while Lok Darshan Regmi has been proposed for the position of Ambassador to the United States of America.
The Minister also noted that the cabinet meeting decided to recall ambassadors from five countries. Additionally, 22 secretaries have been transferred.
Furthermore, the cabinet has resolved to recall the province chiefs from Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Yadav Chandra Sharma, Amik Sherchan, and Tilak Pariyar have been recalled from their respective positions as Province Chiefs of Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, respectively, as stated by Minister Gupta.
