Tel Aviv- Hamas will release six Israeli hostages in exchange for allowing people to return to northern Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas would release six more Israeli hostages this week and that people in northern Gaza would be allowed to return to their homes from Monday.
One of the hostages to be released is Arbel Yehud, a civilian. Israel has not allowed the people of northern Gaza to return to their homes due to the lack of civilian release.
Hamas released four hostages on Saturday, but not Arbel Yehud at the time. Israel accused Hamas of violating the terms of a ceasefire agreement. According to the agreement, Israeli citizens were to be released first.
