Kathmandu. Himalaya Airlines is going to resume direct flights to Kuwait from the 4th of August. Responding to the demand of Nepalis working and living in Kuwait, the airline is going to resume its direct flights.
Earlier, the airline had started flying to Kuwait on July 15, 2022, but it was postponed due to technical reasons. The airline believes that the restarted flights on Kathmandu-Kuwait-Kathmandu will promote tourism and trade. Caesars Travel Group has been appointed as General Sales Agent (GSA) partner for the airline for Kuwait. Initially, the airline plans to operate one flight a week on the Kathmandu-Kuwait-Kathmandu air route and plans to add more flights based on demand, the airline said through a statement. Kathmandu-Kuwait flight will depart at 12:40 PM and Kuwait-Kathmandu flight will depart at 4:15 AM.
