Himalayan Kalinchok BBR JV was chosen to build the international cricket stadium in Chitwan

 

Kathmandu. Himalayan Kalinchok BBR JV has been selected for the construction of the ‘Gautam Budh International Cricket Stadium’ in Chitwan. Bharatpur Metropolitan Corporation has today issued a seven-day letter of intent in the name of the company. If there is no objection within that time period, the construction agreement will be signed on the eighth day.
The target is to complete the construction within 26 months from the date of signing the contract. The construction cost excluding VAT and PS is 68 crore 2 lakh 64 thousand 2 hundred 7 rupees 84 paisa.
Jagannath Aryal, Deputy Director of Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality, informed that 12 companies had tendered in the tender called for the second time for the construction of additional infrastructure of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium, whose construction has stalled due to lack of budget in Bharatpur, Chitwan.
The Dhurmas Suntali Foundation, which started the construction of the stadium, has already prepared a parafit for 5000 seats. The stadium will have 5 pitches with a field, the field will be constructed using the latest technology with drainage, and 2 3/3 storey towers will be constructed. One will house VIPs and players, while the other will house media, umpires and corporate boxes.
