Imran Khan Seeks Court Permission for Medical Tests in Jail

Pakistan’s jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan has filed a plea in the Islamabad High Court, seeking permission for conducting his medical tests and examinations in three days. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party Chief who is currently being held in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi filed the petition in the court through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. The plea has requested the court to order monthly medical check-ups and tests for jailed leader at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in the city. In the plea, the Cricketer turned Politician stated that he is suffering from certain medical issues and requested that a copy of his medical report be given to PTI founder’s family and presented in the court.
