International Asian Taekwondo Tournament will be held from today

The first Chang Hun International Asian Taekwondo Tournament organized by Nepal Chang Hun International Taekwondo Federation will be held from Friday.
Kul Bahadur Budhamgar, President of the Maha Sangh, informed that about 2,500 players from Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Vietnam, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Singapore will participate in the tournament which will be held at the Academy of the Karate Federation located in Satdobato.
Organizers said that in the competition that will be held until June 13, 85 gold medals, 85 silver medals and 116 bronze medals will be contested. In the competition, for men, there will be competition in weight groups above 20 kg, 21-26, 27-32, 33-38, 39-44, 45-50, 51-56, 57-62, 63-68, 69-74 and 74 kg.
Similarly, for women, there will be competition in weight groups below 20 kg, 21-26, 27-32, 33-38, 39-44, 45-50, 51-56, 57-62 and above 62 kg. Senior Weight Group 9 Black Belt Men’s Under 44kg, 45-50, 51-56, 57-62, 63-68, 69-74, 75-80 and Over 80kg, Women’s Under 38kg, 39-44, 45-50, 51 – There will be competition in weight groups above 56, 57-62, 63-68, 69-74 and 74 kg.

Similarly, in single kata men’s yellow, green, blue, red, black belt (1st to 5th dan) and women’s yellow, green, blue, red, black belt (first to 5th dan) competition will be held. Under group kata men’s senior (black belt), junior (Color Belt) and Women Senior (Black Belt), Junior (Color Belt) will compete.

According to the organizers, about Rs. 50 lakhs will be spent to run the tournament.
