Kamala officially became a candidate for the post of President of the United States

US Vice President Kamala Harris has officially become the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party. She has officially become the presidential candidate by receiving the most votes from the party representatives.
Harris said she was honored to be selected as a candidate ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago at the end of this month. Kamala Harris was the first black woman and the first woman of South Asian descent.
