Kathmandu. The Labor Party has returned to power after 14 years after winning the UK elections. The Labor Party led by Kier Starmer has passed the 326 seats required to form a government.
According to the international media, the Labor Party has won 344 seats in the initial results. But the current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party has won only 72 seats till the time of writing this news. The opinion poll showed that the Labor Party will win 410 seats out of the total 650 seats in the UK and the Conservative Party will be included in 131 seats. In 2019, the Conservative Party won 364 seats while the Labor Party only won 203 seats. had won.
This time the situation is reversed and the Labor Party has won a huge majority. 61-year-old Keir Starmer will become the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He was elected as the leader of the Labor Party in 2020. The Conservative Party leaders are being criticized after the bad results in the elections.
