Mountain climbing: 148 people got permission in one month, 10 million revenue collection

Climbers have so far taken permission to climb 9 mountains. There are 63 people who have climbed Mt Everest the most. Similarly, there are 25 people who have received permission to climb Annapurna, while 23 people have received permission to climb Amadablam and 15 people who have received permission to climb Dhaulagiri. The highest revenue collection is 9.2 million from Everest, 5.961 thousand from Annapurna, 3.570 thousand from Dhaulagiri, 1.6 million 77 thousand from Kanchanjunga and 12 from Amadablam. A revenue of Rs. 24,000 has been collected.
Meanwhile, the number of tourists coming to Nepal has also increased this year. During one month (March), 128,000 foreign tourists have entered. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 1 lakh 28 thousand 167 foreign tourists came to Nepal in March 2024.
This is 30 percent more than 2023 and 1 percent more than 2019. One lakh 27 thousand 351 foreign tourists came to Nepal in 2019 and 99 thousand 426 in 2023.
In March, the highest number of Indian tourists came to visit Nepal, 30,698. In the second place, 12 thousand 93 tourists from China, 10 thousand 763 from America, 5 thousand 255 tourists from Germany came to visit Nepal. The growth rate of tourists coming to Nepal from China in March is 358 percent. In March of last year, 2,635 Chinese tourists came to visit Nepal, while in March of this year, 12,093 people came to visit. But the number of tourists coming to Nepal from Australia, Pakistan and Israel has decreased comparatively.
