Nandini Gupta From Rajasthan Wins Femina Miss India 2023

Mumbai: Rajasthan’s Nandini Gupta has been crowned Femina Miss India World 2023. Along with her, Delhi’s Shreya Poonja became the first runner-up, while Manipur’s Thounaojam Strela Luwang was crowned the 2nd runner-up.

The 59th edition of India’s foremost prestigious pageant successfully orchestrated yet another season’s grand finale in a historic ceremony at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur, who played the perfect host to the mesmerizing event.

Nandini Gupta is a native of Kota, Rajasthan, and showed exceptional organisational and hospitality skills when she was a little girl. She was motivated by this encounter to seek a business management degree. The 19-year-old is of the opinion that failures are essential in defining one’s identity. So as she sets out on the voyage of a lifetime, she is determined to face all the difficulties, setbacks, and rejections that may come her way. She is aware that difficulties will certainly emerge, but she is ready to face them head-on by viewing setbacks and failures as teaching moments. Nandini is dedicated to conquering challenges and succeeding.

As a 10-year-old, she always dreamed of competing in Femina Miss India, desiring the crown for its beauty. However, as she grew older, Nandini came to the realization that it was much more than just the crown; it was a unique journey that only a select few would have the opportunity to experience. Femina Miss India was a platform that provided wings to soar to great heights, making an ordinary girl into an extraordinary one while preserving her simplicity.

Shreya Poonja – First Runner-up Femina Miss India 2023

Shreya Poonja, who was born and reared in Delhi, is a graduate in economics who is now going to graduate school for finance. She was active in the arts as a child and mastered a variety of dance styles, including Kathak, Jazz, and Contemporary, as well as sports like swimming, skating, and even taekwondo. She won the 2019 Campus Princess national competition at the age of 19.

Shreya is a fiercely independent woman who is yet incredibly modest and compassionate. She began working as an actor and model after graduating. For designers like Manish Malhotra, Raghavendra Rathore, and Neeta Lulla, she has dominated the runway. She has also worked with various national and international brands on advertisements and TVCs.

Thounaojam Strela Luwang – Second Runner-up Femina Miss India 2023

Thounaojam Strela Luwang, a member of the Thounaojam family, was born amid the hills and thick forests that encircle the tranquil state of Manipur. She chose to study international business and now devotes all of her time to building the future she so dearly desires. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at an early age as a result of the stress and anxiety brought on by bullying, and she believes that mental health is just as essential as physical health, if not more so. She consequently became an active advocate for mental health. Her ultimate objective is to promote a “Child-friendly” educational system because she considers words to be her friends and wants to spread this knowledge to everyone.
