Nepal: 4.9 magnitude earthquake strikes Pokhara

Pokhara: Earthquake near Pokhara: 4.9 Magnitude Earthquake hits Lumle- Dhampus area, Kaski today early morning at 3:56 AM, according to the National Seismological Center.

Earthquake Measurement Center. The quake took place at 3.56 am with its epicenter at Dhampus of Machhapurchhare Rural Municipality-7 in Kaski district.

Shockwaves from the quake were felt in Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi and Tanahun districts, said the local people. However, no details of losses caused by the quake has been reported, said ward chair of Dhampus, Baikuntha Bhandari.
