Nepal and Germany begin 220 kV transmission line project

Nepal Electricity Authority, in collaboration with the German government, has launched the Lekhnath-Damauli 220 kV transmission line project. The project includes a 45-kilometer double-circuit line and modern substations, with a capacity of 1,000 MW. It is expected to strengthen electricity transmission and support hydropower generation.
