Nepal China Friendship ‘Dragon Boat Race Festival’ has ended in Pokhara

Nepal China Friendship ‘Dragon Boat Race Festival’ has ended in Pokhara and Chinese Team ‘Sichuan’ has won the race with prize money of Rs 5 lakhs 5 thousand. Two Nepali Teams NARA & NRCA got 2nd and 4th place respectively. The event is a joint initiative of Nepal Tourism Board, Chinese Embassy, Nepal and Pokhara Metropolitan City. The organisers said that the festival will boost cultural ties between Nepal and China and could be a prominent product to draw visitors from the northern neighbour.
