Kathmandu: Nepal Govt decides to ban TikTok. A Cabinet meeting on Monday took the decision to ban the app. The government of Nepal has banned TikTok for disrupting social harmony in the country. Nepal government bans TikTok effective today, saying it “distorts social harmony, promotes vulgarity, and weakens national unity.”

The Cabinet meeting on Monday decided to ban the app arguing that the app was promoting social anomaly in the country. The date of enforcement of the decision however is yet to be fixed.
